I need a restaurant for all of us to meet and eat. I was thinking of Gramercy Tavern, but it's booked. They ate at River Cafe last time and loved it and would do it again, but I think it needs to be someplace new. Not too stuffy, price not outrageous (no daniel or jean georges) but could be a bit pricey if it's worth it.
I was thinking either 4 star great or weird, crazy fun, interesting, something they can't get back in Pennsylvania. Maybe Churrascaria Plataforma?
The intro will be difficult enough, I can't deal with a stuffy restaurant with attitude. They will be staying in midtown but anyplace below central park and all the way to Tribeca is fair game.
They are adventurous with food so nothings off limits, except sushi.
Thank you thank you thank you!
