Well boy howdy, Scarborough gets an outdoor pop-up BBQ joint - 'bout time

Art of BBQ Smokehouse has set-up camp (literally) in a parking lot on the north side of Kingston Rd 2 blocks west of Midland Ave. By my count, they have 3 full-size smokers on site with a grill to finish things off and a camper with kitchen for sides.

Trevor David is smoking up one raft of meat a day in this tiny, but jammed location. Yesterday was bbq chicken. Today, I may just have to return for the pork butt. Sides during the day of bread and coleslaw turn into coleslaw with rice and peas at dinner. Seeeeeeeeriously generous portions. A $15 "dinner" easily feeds two.

Open lunch until sold out (9pm or so by his reckoning). Seriously, I don't know how people can drive by the aroma. Good thing there's a gym just down the road.

Website link does not show the pop-ups he does, but it's good info just the same.
