I just grated about 8 potatoes for individual potato kugels for Passover. The box grater side that I used seemed "dull". I seemed to have to exert a lot of effort to grate each potato. (I used the largest-holed side.)
The finer grater side seemed much easier to grate on, but I didn't like the consistency of the "grate".
Can these things get dull? I really don't think I use that grater more than two or three times a year. Also, can anyone recommend a box grater that you really like. I know I could have used my cuisinart, but I just don't like the texture it creates. Thanks
