I just keep stumbling on VERY good Pizza, in Concord two weeks ago, and now at Capri Pizza in Arlington. We were there early and bought 4 slices that were fresh out of the oven, but they were super thin and excellent. This time not a semolina based dough, just all purpose flour, but darn near perfect for this style.
Ironically the owners are Greek, (I hate the oily, bready sloppy pizza many Greek places serve) but the owner's profess to have gotten advice from Pizza places in Italy... it shows.
Just for the record, I have generally been a hater of MUCH Boston Za. So much lousy pizza in all honesty. Most recently at a place in Belmont (Brothers I think) but the more I look, the more decent Za I find.
At Capri, they actually apologized that they like the crust a little crunchier, this was on the slightly floppy chewy side, but I loved it.
Super thin, plain cheese, just the right amount of sauce, perfection. My (Italian) SO said it tasted just like home.
