Boston hound's trip to Port Angeles

Visited the area last month and want to thank those who made recommendations. I was told about Thai Pepper but I was reluctant because the best Thai restaurant outside of Thailand is in my neighborhood. Went to Bushwackers first. My Seafood Bubble dish was pretty good, a pasta dish with a cream tomato-seafood sauce, but the other entrees were very disappointing as was the salad bar and chowder.
Did go to Thai Pepper the next night and enjoyed our meal. Still not the world's best but very good. Crab fried rice and an alaskan fish special (don't remember the name). Had oysters and crab at Downriggers but after having delicious meals in Seattle, found this also to be disappointing. Had an excellent lunch at First Street Haven, with good, friendly service. Also ate a very good bakery I believe formerly called Lucys.
