My boss and his wife are heading to Rome for 6 nights next week.
Both have been there before, but not for many years. Being from NY, we have wonderful Italian everywhere but I think they'd like to find places that are NOT excessively touristy, since they both speak Italian and would like to "fit in" a bit more than the usual tourist.
Any area of Rome is fine, they are more than willing to foot it, or take a taxi or train to get there.
Maybe a couple of "haute" choices to round things out, just in case (his wife is a bit more particular than he is).
Fabulous gelato/dessert venues a major plus!
Thanks as usual!
