saw a post below on Fast Food Nation, reminded me of two food-books I read before, I highly recommend Mark Kurlansky's food books; informative, very revealing, and quit interesting . . he wrote "Cod: A Biography of the Fish that Changed the World," and also "Salt: A World History." Historical accounts of foodstuffs! what more can we ask for . . . .
