We are visiting Bologna in October and we will have 2 dinners and 1 lunch. For lunch, I was thinking we can wander around the market, perhaps pick up some Prosciutto di Parma, Culatello, Mortadella, Torta Fritta, and Parmigiano Reggiano, (maybe from Salumeria Simoni) and eat at Osteria del Sole.
For the 2 dinners we have, we want to try the traditional Bolognese dishes - Tagliatelle Ragu, Lasagna, and Tortellini Brodo. Where should we go for excellent renditions of those dishes? I have been reading reviews, but everything seems to have mixed reviews online. The only place that seems unanimously loved is Hosteria Giusti a Modena but we won't have time to go there.
