Looking for bolillo/telera roll alternative in San Francisco

I am making torta type sandwiches for a group and I’m hoping to find another type of roll that would work in place of bolillos or teleras. I searched the boards and saw recommendations to use Acme’s epi or mini rustic baguette. Does Thorough Breads do anything that would work? Any other bakery/store?

My problem is that I will be doing this on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend and will have to pick up the rolls on Saturday (not ideal, I know, I know). I live in SF (near Thorough) but I would prefer not to have to deal with the crowds lined up at Acme at the Saturday Farmer’s Market or the usual weekend crowds on 24th Street to get the real deal at a panaderia.

If I have to suck it up and go to Acme, does anyone know how to place a special order with them? I am going to need 2 dozen rolls. When I have tried to place special orders with them before it hasn’t always been successful.
