Boiled Crabs

As a visitor from the Baton Rouge area, I experienced probably the best boiled crabs of my life purchased from a small seafood establishment in the Bucktown area of Metairie. Fat, full,juicy and delicious. I went back the second time and was not disappointed. The third time I asked the man behind the counter about them and he informed me that they were from Lake Ponchatrain near by. He went on to say that year in year out they are the best crabs available. I now tend to agree. I have tasted boiled crabs in the Grand Isle area as well as along the entire Gulf coast, but these do indeed seem to be the best. Any opinions either way? Lake Pnchatrain crabs better then the rest? Interested.
