Yippee! I was "talking" with someone on one of my food lists, who mentioned she had found black pearls. She then said she had found them in Burlington, that they had just been bagging them up last night. I raced over there as soon as I finished lunch, and lo and behold, there they are--in the freezer case no less. (As you face the wall of freezer cases that is opposite some of the Chinese shelves, they are on the far left.) I got six bags @ $1.59 each. The woman said you cook them for 5 minutes, let them stand for 20, and repeat til done. This will be interesting.
Just thought some of you other addicts might like to know this. Apparently they tend to run out of them pretty quickly, so be warned.
