Boardwalk Pizza

Joe Beim | Mar 29, 2006 10:51 AM

I remember Pizza tasted a lot different in the fifty's. I regularly was taken to the Coney Island boardwalk (around W. 35th St) to a small pizzaria called Ferros. The pizza had a much more pungent odor than current pizzas have.

Anyone remember Ferro's (behind the Jefferson' Baths, next to the YMHA) and Why is their pizza different from any other Pizza? Is pizza like it available anywhere today?
