My wife and I live in Wellesley and visit Blue Ginger for special occassions. Our recent trip saddened me because the food and atmosphere remain the same, but Ming has tacked an extra $10 to most of his entrees in the past year. Ming's wine list is award winning buthe has phased many of the excellent, less expensive wines that were once offered. Almost every bottle of red starts in the $40s. I love Blue Ginger. The service is good. Food great. The restaurant can be loud and seating tight. I guess I'm lamenting the end of one of the best dining values in the Boston area. Perhaps this an increase in operating costs or is it a celebrity surcharge now that Ming is all over the airways?
PS - the duck and lamb were excellent
