reviewed in the LI NYT below

food very good. specials very overpriced.
I had a seabass with bay scallop special. $30.
My bro and mom ate from the regular menu at more reasonable prices.
Chicken and salmon. Sauces on theirs tended on the heavy side.
Everyone had sauteed spinach and garlic mashed.

Goat cheese special salad had so little goat cheese we asked for extra.
Gorgonzola pear salad from the menu was very good.

Bread was weak.

Nothing special for the $.

still terrible AC/heating problems here, as it was in the Village Bistro.

On the Italian side, but not exclusively.

Service was very lacking. Red wine served in a cold glass.
Choices by the glass were very limited.
Extra glass for beer was still quite wet.
Slow water refills.
