Black mint paste from a bodega - how should I use it?

I was intrigued by and bought a small jar of black mint paste at my bodega this afternoon. I've no idea how to use the salty and slightly minty/basily flavored concoction.

Has anyone used it? Can you tell me what I can try it on or w/?
