We just moved to Montreal and don't know the dining scene too well yet. My brother-in-law is in town for his birthday and has never been here! We'd like to take him somewhere quintessentially Montreal (no seafood, and he's not into foie gras or offal so I think Au Pied de Cochon is out). I was thinking somewhere in Old Montreal, moderately priced... Les Soeurs Grises was on my wishlist, but we'll also have a baby with us so that's out. The baby is young (3 months) so it doesn't have to be an especially kid-friendly place as he'll be in the car seat/stroller or in my arms the whole time anyway!
