Birthday Breakfast - no lingering aroma

Foodie2 | Mar 22, 2006 02:55 PM

I know there have been TONS of posts about good breakfast/brunch spots in Cambridge/Somerville but I'm asking again. It's my birthday Saturday, and my boyfriend's taking me out for breakfast (not brunch) around 10 or so, and I'm trying to decide between Henrietta's Table (breakfast menu, not brunch) and Johnny D's. I don't want to go anyplace that will make me smell like a diner (no chance to shower before fancy dinner), and I don't want to be tempted by all-you-can-eat or massive portions of delicious but greasy foods that will make me feel slightly ill... as much as I normally enjoy aforementioned foods. There is a full day of activities planned, culminating in a delightful and big dinner. Would you go Henrietta's or Johnny D's? Or am I missing something fabulous fabulous that meets these requirements?
