Two or three years ago, Bierkraft boasted one of the finest cheese selections in the borough.
On a recent visit, I was discouraged to find their selection of cheeses to be decimated--very limited and poorly organized, at that.
They also appear to have given up a lot square footage to some sort of "café" area, with seating in front.
Fortunately, their beer selection seemed as grand as ever.
I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that cheese was a huge part of their identity; is Bierkraft trying to redefine itself? If so, I'm not sure I like it.
