We're going to be staying in Hamilton, but will be willing to venture afield. We've rented an apartment, and were hoping to avoid the full effect of the high restaurant prices by cooking some. Are there any good places to shop for food? Obviously stores or markets with good produce, fish, and meat would be key. Also interested of course to check out any products characteristic of the environs. Have never been to Bermuda before.
Again, I realize from prior posts and other research that dining in Bermuda is generally pricey. Are there any exceptions, perhaps (in CH spirit) off the beaten track, or snacks in not-exactly-restaurant spots?
Thanks in advance, and I'll report back on my experiences.
