today's issue of the Berkeleyan has a detailed article about Cafe Muse in the Berkeley Art Museum. The Cafe occupies the space that used to be home to the Swallow Cafe - a collective that was a spin off of the Cheeseboard and had Ruth Reichl as a member. Cafe Muse has the normal lunch stuff (soup, sandwich & salads) but made with organic/sustainable/pc ingredients. In addition, they offer several raw dishes - and at affordable prices-entrees top out at $ 6.50. They are at 2625 Durant Ave. Near College Ave... I haven't heard any firsthand reports about the food. After having your raw lunch you can walk down the street to have a donut from King Pin!
