Bento Style - School lunches

pumpkinspice | Jun 13, 201806:29 AM     6

My three year old will be starting JK in September (yikes) and I am already starting to think about managing lunches. I bought her a bento style lunch box (yumbox) which has a big enough compartment to hold a sandwich but can be broken up to with muffin liners to separate food. The box isn’t insulated (will add an ice pack) but I also plan on getting her a thermos for some days.

Looking for some fun, kind friendly ideas that will hold well as I am out of the house by 6.30 AM and she won’t eat until about 12. She has allergies to sesame (no hummus), peanuts and some treenuts (school is nut free anyway).
