Beijing Cuisine Garden

Usually when I think of good Chinese in the SGV, West Covina is not a city that pops to the forefront. But no longer. This little gem, located in the back of a strip mall, almost invisible from the street, is the best I've tried since the late great Tung lai Shun(Islamic version - not the imitator in its place now). Its Northern Chinese, but not Islamic - they do serve lots of pork, but the menu is almost identical to TLS otherwise. It's a bit chaotic and understaffed, but the food was fantastic. Of particular interest was the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice, absolutely delicious. Give this place a try:
