It's time of the year when my wine cave is a bit depleted and I start to think of the next round of purchases.
The 2012 Beaujolais crop was about half of normal, and the bottle of nouveau I won at bridge had such a bitter finish that I am thinking of stocking up on 2010-11's and skipping the 2012 vintage.
I expect I will again buy Fleurie Déduits, Juliénas Capitans and Cote-de-Brouilly Riaz. Here the Clos de la Roile was recommended but it's not really a Fleurie. I'm looking for better wine from these three preferred districts. I am not finding much that is better except Thivin in Cote-de-Brouilly but is it worth twice the price and more?
