BBQ South to Madison, Warrenton, Gainesville, VA

Three bbq pork sandwiches: One at Pig n Steak (a brick and mortar place in Madison) followed by two food trucks. Smokin' Billy's listed in Warrenton and just north a couple of blocks, Big B's from Gainesville.

The ancient looking Pig n Steak was the smallest pork sandwich I've ever seen. It was also dry, so I guess I can't complain about the size.....

Next up, going north, is Smokin' Billy's which did much, much better in comparison, but still nothing too impressive.

The third hit the spot. Big B's was a bit more expensive, but a huge bomb of a sandwich that was very moist and smoky. This was the pick of the stretch. So if you're heading down to Charlottesville, this is a mighty fine choice.
