BBQ in the Peninsula?

Anne Sinha | Jul 10, 200505:21 PM

Hello! I am looking for good BBQ on the Peninsula. I have tried Austin's and Armedillo Willy's and was wondering what other ones are out there?
I have heard about Uncle Frank's (but I heard that was shut down for now - that it was evicted from East Palo Alto and had tried to open in Moutain View without any luck) and also Ma Pinkie's and Brix (both of which I heard was okay).
Any others come to mind?
Background: I grew up in Virginia and love both fall of the bone ribs and also North Carolina style bbq where you use vinegar (particularly in the pork sandwiches that SHOULD always be served with slaw on the sandwich) I also tend to like my bbq more smokey and sweet than spicy (I can not deal with heat) Any ideas on where I can find something like this?

Thanks, Anne :)
