I met a great older gentleman who cooks and serves BBQ out of his backyard in La Jolla to 150+ people, twice a month. He learned from the BBQ masters and has hickory wood flown out from Oklahoma for smoking chicken, beef and pork ribs.
Has anyone heard about him or eaten his food? His next event is this Sunday @ 12pm. He promises that his food is better than Phil's BBQ in Mission Hills - sounds good!
