Finally got around to the Bay cities Italian Delicatesen on Lincoln Blvd in Santa Monica last week. The place was extremely
busy and rightly so. The "Godmother Sandwich" we
ordered was very tasty. Am not quite sure if it
were the contents, or the roll with the crisp crust that made the sandwich so pleasing.
However, the combination of the crowd and the
posted menu not being very clear to a first time customer, we chose the "Godmother Sandwich" as our
"tasting menu".(albeit, all the servers behind the counter seemed very willing to help, but we hesitated to take up too much time as people with numbers were
waiting behind us.)
Can any of you who have recommended this place on the
board, tip us off as to what you order and how?
