My foodie friends and I have not returned to Bastide since Alain Giraud's departure. Guess we are still mourning the loss of the finest cuisine, the best service, the nicest ambience, and the most delicious dessert--Lavender Cream--in LA's culinary history....... :-(
This may be subjective but we felt it was the only restaurant comparable to the Michlin 3-star restaurants in Paris, of which we've tried many.
We've heard good and bad things about Chef Ludo's cooking. Could anyone post some comment? Is it worth going back? Do they stil have the Lavender Cream?
