Bar Harbor/Ogunquit report

XYZ - Aweful. I don't think the non-mexican staff (and I believe owners) can even locate Mexico on the globe. The salsa which they claim to be homemade, although they'd do better pouring it out of a jar, is served with the worst dinner rolls. No Chips.
The night we were there they were out of the tongue and short ribs, because "they are to busy to go to Bangor" for the meat. (Note to Bob K. Janet was none to pleasant to explain that the tongue was NEVER braised).
The mole chicken thighs were bland and expensive as were all entrees at $20.

Mother's Kitchen - this Town Hall shack serves the best food on the island. Excellent sandwiches and dessert. Take out only. Must try any of the breakfast sandwiches.

Island Chowder House - Great fried haddock. Very medicore chowder.

151 - Best dinner choice for non tradional Maine food. Just great comfort eats. Smoked fish app is done on the premises. Meatloaf as good as mom's.

Two Cats - Best breakfast. Great eggs benedict, I prefered the one with smoked salmon on homemade bisquit.
