I had dinner with friends here last week and thought the food was fabulous. It's Malaysian, and everything is incredibly fresh and vibrantly seasoned. All the tables were filled with Asian diners; we were the only non-Asians in the place. We had this delicious dish with little piles of different things like dried anchovies, a mound of curried chicken and a few other things with great sticky rice. The chef brought us out a lobster salad that had slivers of green apple and mango and some sort of chilis. We had a sesame creme brulee for dessert that was just great. I've never seen this place mentioned on this board, but it's worth your attention. They're in Bay Ridge.
