The Bamboo Hut in Worcester has been sold to a Vietnamese restaurateur from Dorchester, and will be closing its doors Sunday night. I expect the last two nights will be a madhouse, and probably not a good time to go there except for sentimental reasons, since the service should be even more erratic than usual.
For those who know and love the place: the proprietors got a good offer and are looking forward to some time off. They're moving out, and not sure yet where they'll wind up.
For us, it's the closing of our very favorite place to eat in Worcester. We wish Nam, Qynh, Grace, and Glory a happy future, and hope that they decide to open another restaurant some day.
