Restaurants & Bars 7

My baltimore weekend.

Our first meal was at Bo Brooks. We were there for a late lunch and had the place to ourselves. Food was pretty good and was a nice start to the weekend.

Loved drinking at Brewer's Art at the bar upstairs. Great selection of beer and people who worked there were very friendly. Kinda wished I ate there before I left. I saw a lot of burgers and fries come out and it looked delicious.

Loved crab cakes at Faidley's. Had some nice fried chicken gizzards while I was at Lexington market too. And loved the live blues performance. The band was really good.

Unfortunately, our last two meals were the worst. My boyfriend wanted to go to a "nicer" place so we went to Pisces. Nice view, but I've never spent so much money on inedible food. Our appetizers were okay, but the entrees were horrible. I ordered the seared tuna dish that's served rare. When the waiter brought my entree over, I just stared at the tuna and couldn't believe I was served a low quality piece of fish at a highend restaurant. I didn't have to taste it to know I wasn't going to enjoy it. My boyfriend and I ate about half of our entrees and gave up.

Our last meal was at the Green Turtle. There was a long wait at Paper Moon so we wandered around and settled on this place. Bad food. Weak drinks.

Thanks for your recs. Next time I'm there, I'm hitting the other places that were suggested..
