Went to ballfields yesterday for first time since the reopening. lines for pupusas and huaraches were very long - 20-30 deep. Fortunately they were short for the ceviche, which was what I'd come for.
Today I went to the flea market. No line at all for pupusas! Two dollar sandia juice! Maybe five deep for huaraches! Plus cookies, popsicles and all kind of dessert items. If only the ceviche place would open up at the Flea - my happiness would be complete.
It might actually be quicker to buy your food at the flea market and hop the G to the ballfields if you must eat on grass.
Side note - Le Toukelour (sp?) set up a mini-restaurant at the flea today - full meals for under 10 dollars. looking good!
