Baldwin's on Elm review

Gail | Jun 13, 2005 11:02 AM

Had dinner at Baldwin's on Elm the other night.

We split a bunch of apps. and one main meal. The service was wonderful ...they split the meals onto two plates which was very nice.

We had:
Amuse was a potato chip with smoked salmon, creme fraiche.

Curry Calamari... Flavor was wonderful but it was a little cool and a tad soggy.
Mussels Served with grilled bread. Delish
Soft shell crab. We had one each and very good
Duck. Saw this go by and it looked good so we ordered it. Only dish they did not split as it would have ruined the presentation. Wow
Spinach/Goat Cheese Salad.........Perfectly fresh
Salmon in saffron broth with egg noodles..... Beautiful and very tasty.
Finished with a chocolate soufflé and blueberry/mint ice-cream which is made on site. Pretty darn good!
Highly recommend.
