Baking question re subbing diced apple for raisins

nemo | Jan 5, 2012 11:16 AM

In either oatmeal cookies or maybe an applesauce quick bread, can I substitute small diced apples for the raisins? The family I'm sending to has a 2-year-old, and I'm not sure that raisins are okay for him to eat. So, either tell me that raisins are okay for the little guy, or let me know if the apple will be too moist and ruin the batter. Thank you!
