Bahn Mi Zon until recently was food-truck-only, but they recently opened a shop in San Rafael near the Marin County Civic Center. I've been a few times and like their Banh Mi a lot. The baguettes have a crisp but very thin crust, perfect for these sandwiches. I had the Chicken Teriyaki Banh Mi today, my favorite one. The large roll was loaded with chicken (more than is evident in the photo) and Pickled Carrots, Daikon, Jalapeños, Cucumber, and Cilantro. They charge $8.50, more than banh mi in many places, but this one is larger with much more meat and other ingredients. If you like banh mi, check this place out.
