I have been salivating through some Italian cookbooks and their recipes for baby lamb...I have had this in Rome but wonder if this is something we can get here in the US?? (I live in NYC) In the spring?? Would one have to purchase the whole cut-up animal?? Is this something that can be cooked for, say, four persons or is it on the order of the baby- goat-on-the-spit in-the-yard type thing?
