awesome onion rings at Top Dog in Greenwich

adamclyde | Aug 27, 200603:53 AM     2

I love Top Dog just off of the post road in Greenwich, behind the Patio.com place on the corner there on Cos Cob. Good dogs (don't get chili dogs though. Anyhow, what I really love about the place are the onion rings. Amazing rings... crisp battered rings that are flavorful, substantial... man they are good.

Has anyone else tried them? Any other places nearby I should go for great rings?

Also, while on the subject, does anyone know about the little italian food place direction across river road from Patio.com, at the corner of River road and putnam? Looks like a little family run place, and advertises fresh pastas, raviolis, paninis, etc. Keep meaning to try it, but haven't made it there yet...
