"Authentic French Cafe" (Restaurant) 173rd Street & Biscayne

Found this small restaurant/cafe last year and went twice this month..it's that good..like a 'memory' of Paris!! Its' called "RENDEZVOUS", Wonderful menu with many French offerings from Croque Monsieur, to Escargot, Moules & Frites..Their salads are inventive and the dressing is a correct vinaigrette that doesn't drown your salad, Bifteck & Frites, and many other good things. The Quiches are fabulous..light and silky!.
If you like 'true' french pasteries..pain au chocolate (plus others of that ilk) and 'precious little 'tartes' of good custard topped with fresh fruit..to die for..did not try the 'cakes' but they look just the way you see them in a 'patisserie' in France....This place is a true find!!!
It is in a plaza that has Ace Hardware..easy to find, easy to park...WONDERFUL!!! I'll be back in Aventura next year and I really look forward to eating there many times.!
From here it's on to 'our other winter home'' in Jamaica til mid March..I wish we had the choice of restaurants all you lucky folks have around here!! Thanks to all who answered my questions and gave us some good places to eat.....
