Authentic Filipino meals near the Ballpark

I highly recommend Carmen's on Pier 40, a family-owned restaurant located half a block from the ballpark in The Embarcadero. This is the closest to authentic Filipino food you can find in San Francisco without driving to Daly City/South San Francisco areas. I've heard it's a "hit-and-miss" Filipino restaurant, but so far, I haven't been disappointed.

They are known for their pork or chicken adobo. Absolutely delicious! (Very different style from other Filipino regions that I'm used to. They use paprika :)

Also serving:

-pork lumpia

-Daing na Bangus with eggs over fried rice (fried milkfish marinated in vinegar and soysauce; traditional Filipino breakfast)

-Comsilogs over fried rice (combination breakfast plate with two choices of either tocino, longanisa, adobo or fish)

-Fried tilapia

-Sinigang chicken or pork (savory soup and a little sour kick with veggies and meat)

I can recommend places in Daly City or South San Francisco also. I'd be happy to steer you to the right place.
