Attention Downtown Hounds - neutral but tasty group lunch restaurant?

Sarahpet | Feb 4, 200512:34 PM

I'm organizing a welcome-on-your-first-day lunch for 6-8 people from my office at 8th & Fig. I'm looking for a relatively low-priced restaurant within walking distance. We've done CPK (to a farethewell), the restaurants at the Wilshire Grand and the Hyatt, the Flower Street Cafe, and Pasta Primavera. We might do California Roll and Sushi Fish. I'd like entrees in the $6-12 range with basic table service. Any bright ideas?

I'd love to toss everyone on the red line and go to Mama's Hot Tamales, but I think that would take too long, or at least be too obvious that we were gone long.
