Atrium Cafe in Southwest

Sthitch | Jul 2, 2004 02:36 PM

I went to a lunch at a small hole in the wall across the street from the 2nd District Police Station called the Atrium Cafe. They do not have an extensive menu (only sandwiches and salads), however, what they have is superb. They roast all of their own meats. I tried the roast beef, and found that it was well seasoned, and had a nice hint of garlic. I also tried a bit of my wife's turkey, and it was moist and tasted just like leftover Thanksgiving turkey. My wife noticed the other day that they were carving a Turducken (sp?) for that day's sandwich special. The breads and toppings are also pretty good. But best of all they, stock Dr. Browns. If you find yourself looking for lunch in that part of town, I would highly recommend it. It is located between 4th and 5th St. on School St.
