Need Atlanta Ideas

Phaedrus | Mar 16, 200511:01 AM

I am headed for Atlanta next weekend with 18 kids and their parents/entourage for a big volleyball tournament at the World Congress Center. Just wondering what is available for food downtown that is affordable, say below $20 per person.

We are staying at the Marriott Marquis and we will have wheels but I don't relish taking a bunch of parents around to my old haunts in L5P or Buford Highway.

Is the Mick's still open downtown? How about the microbrew on the northside of downtown? I heard Mary Macs has gone downhill, where else can we get a true southern style meal?

And yes we will go visit the V but we probably won't eat there, volleyball players and greasy onion rings, not a happy thing.
