My office is a few blocks away so after reading the Times piece I thought I'd check it out. What was I thinking to go somewhere that just had a mention in the Times? It was chaos! BUT -- they delivered the goods. Even though they list more than 20 types, there were only about 8 available because of the hordes descending, and I had 3 -- broccoli (needed salt), mozz/tom/basil and ham & pepperoni -- all really good. The thinnest crust ever (think matzoh)really crispy, they're oblong like a paddle and are cut with scissors for whatever amount you tell them -- I love that you can have small slivers of lots of different types. A small salad was too expensive and the dressing was way too vinegary, and there was no "bread bowl" in sight. And the space is really ugly. Really. But I definitely recommend it. And though I didn't try it, the Nutella/ricotta/banana pie looked pretty yummy.
