Tried this neighborhood restaraunt for the first time after the fun Bastille Day festivities.

Surprisingly not overcrowded; attentive, pleasant service. Interesting menu, not especially pricey for quality, nice presentation on all items. Pot stickers yummy with great dipping sauce--a hit from a non-Asian place. My pork with mustard crumbs was a tad dry, but well accomanied by a timbale of potatoes a gratin and skinny French green beans. $17 for dinner plate, $7 for appetizer. Hubby and friend ordered gazpacho that they were pleased with. Friend's fish of the day also made a hit.

Only negative was the sound level--kinda high, bouncing off the walls and ceilings. Tables in what looked like a non-smoking bar area looked very pleasant, and might not have been in as noisy an area. All in all, a nice neighborhood find. (on Aspen at 25th)
