Made an early dinner stop at the Ashmont last night (5:30ish), and went home very satisfied. Wife had Flatiron Steak cooked exactly how she ordered, I had Grilled Scallops that hit the spot. Light and satisfying. Appetizer was combo of 3 pureed spreads with homebaked wheat pita; nicely herbed and seasoned. Perfect with the Pinot Noir. Dessert was German Chocolate Cake with coconut coating. Service was friendly and knowledgeable as usual. This place can't miss. Enjoy.
