Need asap with Marcella hazan recipe

We just moved, all our books are in storage and I'm about to make the spareribs with vegetables from The Essentials of Classic Italian cooking. I'm not sure I have the name right, but it's basically braising the ribs after browning them, i think there is onion, celery and carrot in it (don't know how much), adding tomatoes (don't know how much) and slow cooking it (don't know how long, but I'm thinking 3 hoursish). if you could losely describe what I'm supposed to do, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!
