another recent meal at Apizz forced me to throw this up... that place is ON FIRE lately!!! the room just feels so warm and elegant this time of year (but still very homey and friendly), superb service, some excellent wines and the food has been off the charts!
the salmon tartar with potato crisps is heavenly. the crisps add a nice texture to the melt in your mouth tartar.
the fish of the day (sea bass) smoked in their wood fire on a big bed of rosemary served with a lovely deep green herbed olive oil sauce on the side and a wonderful salad. I can't think of a better piece of fish I've had in the last year.
the banana and choc bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was also out of this world!
