This article listed a compilation of "best" restaurants in America and apparently 50% of them are NY restaurants. The backlash is intense. With people from Louisiana to North Dakota proclaiming that their town has better restaurants than NYC.
One poster suggested that the writer of the article should have dined at "Ram Horns", Chili's or Outback Steakhouse before compiling the list.
I find it interesting that people have such a visceral reaction to the list and such an anti-NY sentiment, that the top restaurants in the US couldn't possibly be in NYC, it's some undiscovered diner in Oklahoma, etc.
