Announcement Thread: February 2015 COTM "Mighty Spice"

qianning | Jan 22, 201506:04 PM     78

"MIGHTY SPICE" by John Gregory Smith will be our selection for February 2015.

The usual master thread and recipe reporting threads will go up at the beginning of the month. But in the meantime this is a great place to discuss your preparations for next month's cooking. The helpful COTM'ers are a fabulous source of information.

And about this book, for those who'd like to look into the author and some of the recipes, Mr. Gregory-Smith doesn't seem to have a full bio out there, but here's a link to the blog/magazine he founded: http://www.eattravellive.com/ And to get a feel for the recipes in this book and what other Chowhounds have to say, take a look at this http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/8052...

So here's a chance to look forward to a spicy February!
